Reasons To Consider A Move To Bucks County

As residential movers in Montgomery County, PA, we have certain feelings about the area. We love being close enough to Philadelphia to take a trip anytime, but far enough away that we still get to enjoy the town atmosphere. It’s nice to have that balance. We think each part of Southeastern PA has it’s own charm, but we’d like to take a minute to recognize Montgomery County.

For Singles

Opportunity is around every corner in Montgomery County. With plenty of career options in the medical field with Abington Hospital, Aetna, and Main Line Health, pharmaceutical industry careers with Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline and Merck or retail jobs in Willow Grove Mall, King of Prussia Mall or Montgomery Mall, it’s easy to find work here.

There’s no shortage of places to socialize either; neighborhoods like Cheltenham, Abington and Collegeville offer a local nightlife with flavor and without long lines. Libraries, game shops, book stores and boutique gyms mean that it’s easy to make friends.

For Couples

Commuting to Philadelphia with SEPTA is easy if work is in the city. For those who would prefer to drive, plenty of open road makes it easy to go anywhere, even on vacation to the shore.

Montgomery County is diverse, offering varied tastes from across the globe for a date night or order-in favorite. Townships are adorned with plenty of entertainment options from small music venues like the Keswick Theatre to live theaters like the Bristol Playhouse. Individuals can stay occupied outside of the house with adult intramural sports like rugby, indoor soccer or softball.

For Families

Montgomery County has been ranked the ninth best place in the U.S. to raise a family by Forbes. School districts like Abington and Lower Merion are consistently considered among the best in the nation. Local ice cream shops and convenience stores allow teens to find their first jobs to earn income over the summer.  There are plenty of parks to experience with the whole family so everyone can enjoy an afternoon convening with nature.

At Hammer’s Moving and Storage, Montgomery County, PA, is one of the places we call home, if you’re planning on doing the same, give us a call.
